In early 2015 I made a road trip through Wisconsin, Illinois, Indiana, and Ohio. The impetus for the trip was to attend the Mobile Photo Now show at the Columbus Museum of Art. This was the largest mobile photo show ever mounted; more than 5,000 photographers from 89 different countries submitted nearly 45,000 images via Instagram. The resulting exhibition co-curated by CMA and the #JJ community features more than 320 images from 240 photographers representing nearly 40 different countries. I was excited to have a photo in the show, so I made a road trip and visited friends along the way in Madison, Indianapolis, Toledo and Chicago.
My friend, Jill Shomer, wrote an article about one part of the trip, which ran in the Huffington Post: “Oak Openings.”
Here are some photos from that trip.
