I was excited when Howard Roark Associates asked me to shoot a bespoke dress they commissioned for Fusion + Fashion 2014, hosted by the International Interior Design Association. This annual charity event invites interior designers to create dresses based on a specific theme. This year the theme was “Performance Venues,” and this dress was inspired by Frank Gehry’s Disney Concert Hall. The event was held, appropriately, at Orchestra Hall in Minneapolis, which made for a dramatic backdrop for these photos. It was my first time shooting any kind of fashion, and I loved working with the model to show off this beautiful dress.
